Hey, I’m Nyla!

I’ve been where you are… holding it together for everyone else while quietly abandoning myself. For years, I over-gave in relationships, stayed hypervigilant for signs something was “off,” and bit my tongue to keep the peace, even when my chest was tight with things I wanted to say. My nervous system was constantly on edge, and I knew there had to be a way to feel both real and grounded. I just couldn’t keep going on like that.

My own unmasking began on a painting retreat, when I saw just how much of myself I’d been hiding to be “easy to love” — the needs I’d minimised, the parts of me I’d left behind. That moment marked a shift: I began hearing my own voice again, trusting it and living in a way that didn’t cost me my wholeness.

I created The Unmasking Sessions because two weeks can be the spark for something bigger, the turning point where you stop performing and start living as yourself.
